– RS Components (RS), the trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE: ECM), a global multi-channel provider of industrial and electronic products and solutions, has released a new series called ‘The DesignSpark Podcast’( https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/podcasts ), which explores some of the hottest topics in tech through a mix of fun facts, exuberant stand-up, outlandish sketches and foot-tapping songs. The podcast offers excellent educational information on each technology, while also delivering a highly entertaining comedy experience.
The weekly podcast is co-hosted by tech expert Dr Lucy Rogers – former judge on BBC’s Robot Wars, founder of the Guild of Makers ( https://www.guildofmakers.org/ ) and a DesignSpark blogger – alongside award-winning comedians Bec Hill and Harriet Braine.
The trio are reunited following the 5-star-rated ‘History Makers’ podcast series last autumn, which reached a high of number 4 in the Apple iTunes Tech Chart and explored inventors throughout history who influenced everything from artificial intelligence to 3D manufacturing.
Working in collaboration with ‘Why Did The Chicken?’ ( https://www.whydidthechicken.com/ ), a new episode of The DesignSpark Podcast will be released every Monday for the next six weeks with the first episode available today at: https://www.rs-online.com/designspark/1-big-data-its-about-size-and-how-to-handle-it.
