International EMC conference unveils virtual event exhibitors

~ Full details of exhibitors and speakers announced by independent EMC show ~

EMC & Compliance International, the UK’s only independent electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) show, has announced the full details of the exhibitors and speakers taking part in its upcoming virtual event. The event, which is taking place on May 19–20, 2021 to augment the next real event scheduled for May 2022, will feature numerous experts in EMC testing, compliance and technology showcasing their services and offering practical advice. Registration is open on the EMC UK website.

Several companies that have already committed to exhibiting at the 2022 physical event will be represented at May’s virtual event. These include well-known signal and power connector specialist Wurth Elektronik and EMI component manufacturer Oxley Group, each of whom will have company information, data sheets and informational resources available to event attendees.

Each exhibitor will be found in the event’s Exhibitor Presentations area, which features company information, presentations, datasheets, videos and other resources for visitors to learn more about their products and services. The full exhibitor list is now available on the EMC & Compliance International virtual event page.

“We were very keen not to jump on the virtual exhibition bandwagon and were always hopeful of staging a real event, without compromise in 2022,” says event organiser Alan Warner. “Some of our innovations, like the Ten Minutes with an Expert (TWEX) activity where visitors are encouraged to speak with experts, absolutely depend on face-to-face interaction, so we have organised the 2021 event to be more of a learning opportunity for potential delegates.”

The virtual event features several speakers, one of which is Mr Dai Davis, Partner, Percy Crow Davis & Co, Solicitors. Dai will outline CE Marking obligations that are placed on the manufacturer, the importer, and on the users of equipment within their scopes, including all electronic and mechanical devices, as well as safety equipment.

Additionally, he will discuss how Brexit changes those obligations; what businesses such as theatres who use equipment bearing the CE Marking should do now to minimise disruption following Brexit, and how applying the UKCA mark will become mandatory in 2021.

The full programme of training workshops and sessions can be found here.

Training courses and a host of other information will be made available to anyone subscribing to the event. You can register your interest by visiting the event website, www.emcuk.co.uk/emcuk-2021, and clicking the ‘Go to Registration’ button.
