This will complement the existing plant, allowing the company to offer even more efficient and comprehensive systems and solutions.
The newest addition is a high-speed milling centre, capable of machining components up to 850mm long, 540mm wide and 300mm high, complete with integrated verification. The additional size and speed allow larger batches of standard positioning tables to be optimised whilst improving the capability for customer specials, all part of the flexible and agile approach to manufacturing.
Gary Livingstone, LG Motion Managing Director, says, “Along with efficiencies of production, the milling centre will allow LG Motion to keep and develop core processes in-house, maintaining quality and breadth of services.
