Helping you achieve data centre efficiency

2020 marks the start of a new decade and with this, an era of change within data centre cooling. It’s time to disregard harmful refrigerant systems and move to more environmentally friendly technologies where possible.

The carbon neutral challenge

It’s undeniable that there is a push to be carbon neutral for a lot of companies, however, the right solution has to be there to enable you to make the change. Lucky enough for data centre managers, there is a cooling system available now that is not only energy efficient but also highly effective.

You don’t need to compromise

Seeing the increasing environmental impact of keeping data centres cool, EcoCooling sought to design and build a solution that addressed this growing global concern. This led to the development of the first EcoCooling adiabatic, also known as evaporative, CloudCooling unit. Having installed its first data centre system a decade ago, EcoCooling has a wealth of knowledge and experience that it has used to develop its current range of energy-efficient cooling solutions.

Intuitive design

Manufactured in the UK, the CloudCooler units allow you to combine free cooling with adiabatic cooling and humidification for facilities 5kW to 50MW. The free cooling capability means you can benefit from maximum energy savings, with the adiabatic cooling mode only enabled when it is required.

The plug and play, modular design of the ECT and ECV ranges make it a scalable solution that is easy to install, maintain and operate. Ideal for rapid deployment, the CloudCooler units are ideal if you want to capitalise on energy-efficient cooling technology without delay.

Trusted and proven solutions

Adiabatic cooling is now a mainstream technology. Over the last few years, adiabatic units have been installed across the estate of a major UK telecoms company, saving over it £37m in energy costs. EcoCooling’s CloudCooler technology is also being used in the innovative H2020 Boden Type DC project to create the world’s most efficient data centre. The project has and continues to achieve a PUE of <1.01, enabled largely by the efficiency of the CloudCooler solution.

A global reach

With installations across the Nordics, Europe, South America and beyond, the CloudCooler range is available no matter your location. Get in touch today to find out how EcoCooling’s work over the last decade can help you achieve your carbon neutral goals in this decade.
