Milan, November 6th, 2019 – Advantech, a global leader in intelligent IoT systems, announced today the
opening of its new offices in Cassina de ‘Pecchi near Milan (Italy). The new office has sales, marketing, and
field application engineers to offer invaluable assistance to its customers, particularly Italian ones.
Advantech was founded in 1983; the company’s core activities include integrated systems, hardware,
software, customized design, embedded systems, automation products, and logistics support on a global
scale. As the company enters a new development phase. This is the third office upgrade across Europe
these past two years: France, Eindhoven and now Italy, demonstrating the importance of Europe in
Advantech’s global development strategy.
The company’s goal is to deliver value together with a wide range of industry partners, through a unique co-
creation model. Opening a new office in Italy will allow Advantech to satisfy the growing demand for its
services in Europe, to support IoT projects in market segments like smart cities and manufacturing. Its first
representation in this market was back in 1998 through what was originally a joint venture.

manufacturing facilities in Italy” said Europe Managing Director Jash Bansidhar who, together with Deputy
Managing Director, CTO Dirk Finstel and Dario Nacawa Office Manager Italy, attended the traditional ribbon
cutting ceremony. They were joined by Mr Giuseppe Moretti, a counsellor of Cassina de’ Pecchi, and Mr
Robert Fang, Director Economic Division Taipei Representative Office in Italy.
Advantech is increasingly looking to strengthen existing partnerships, and to create new ones by
implementing its concept of co-creation. The company’s aim is to create customized products to meet the
needs of individual customers, whilst developing together with them the most useful and best-performing
solutions.
