Donghua’s unique mobile App, which helps users identify replacement chain when they’re on-site, has had a make-over.
The mobile tool has been available since 2017 and, following user feedback, the team have made some significant changes to the Leaf Chain form so now only key data is captured enabling the Donghua team to identify the right replacement chain even more quickly than before. The facility to upload a photo of the existing chain, which users found to be a useful feature, is still available.
Bob Wellsbury, the brains behind the Chain ID App, explains: “We understand that engineers out on site need to identify the correct replacement Leaf Chain quickly. As part of our continuous quality improvement, we have reviewed the Leaf Chain form and reduced the amount of data needed to enable us to identify the right replacement chain and advise the engineer within 1 hour*.”
It is hoped that engineers will find the new Leaf Chain form on the mobile App more user friendly and a valuable tool to help identify replacement chain.
The Chain ID App also identifies Conveyor Chain, Roller Chain and Agricultural Chain and can be downloaded for free from mobile App stores and is also available on the Donghua website at www.donghua.co.uk/chain-id.
