The BOXER-6648-ARS Series is built for industrial edge computing, machine vision, automation, virtualisation and control applications. It combines high-performance processing with a practical industrial I/O layout, supporting Intel Core Ultra 9, Core Ultra 7 and Core Ultra 5 processor options, with up to 24 cores and up to 36 TOPS of AI inferencing performance across the CPU, GPU and NPU.
The series is available in H810 and Q870 chipset configurations, giving customers options for standard embedded computing applications and projects that require remote management. The Q870-based model supports Intel Active Management Technology on its two 2.5GbE LAN ports, along with RAID support and additional USB 3.2 Gen 2 connectivity,making it well suited to distributed systems, remote installations and applications that need easier maintenance access after deployment.
For networking and device connectivity, the BOXER-6648-ARS Series includes triple LAN, with two 2.5GbE ports and one 1GbE port, alongside six DB-9 serial ports supporting RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485. This allows the system to connect to newer Ethernet-based equipment and existing serial devices commonly found in industrial environments.
The system also supports up to 96GB DDR5 memory, M.2 NVMe storage, two internal 2.5-inch SATA drive bays, 8-bit DIO, dual HDMI 2.0 display output, remote power control and a 10V to 35V DC input. Its fanless chassis is rated for -25°C to 50°C operation with suitable airflow, making it suitable for cabinet, machine and control system installations.
Security and operating system support are built into the platform, with TPM 2.0, UEFI Secure Boot and support for Windows 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2024, Windows 11 Pro and Ubuntu Linux.
