Growing plug-in ecosystem and upcoming v1.1 enhancements to feature at largest-ever edition of the event
Ottawa, Canada, 21st May 2026 – TeleCANesis will exhibit at Hardware Pioneers Max 2026 in London, marking the company’s first exhibition appearance in the UK. Taking place at ExCeL London for the first time, the event’s largest edition to date will provide TeleCANesis with an opportunity to showcase continued progress of its lean connectivity middleware for embedded systems to the UK’s hardware engineering community.

TeleCANesis helps developers integrate connectivity across complex embedded environments more quickly by automating code generation, simplifying protocol bridging, and supporting a broad range of hardware buses such as CAN, I2C, RS485 and Ethernet, industrial protocols including MQTT, Modbus and J1939, and HMI frameworks such as Qt, Unity, GL Studio and Slint. The approach reduces development effort significantly and accelerates time to market for connected devices and distributed systems.

A key focus this year is growing plug-in and hardware support, driven largely by user feedback. Recent additions include a CANOpen codec and a serial transport plug-in, alongside support for Raspberry Pi 4 and Raspberry Pi 5 hardware targets and the Yocto Scarthgap toolchain. The forthcoming TeleCANesis 1.1 update will include an updated ingestion workflow that can update messages previously created to new instances. It will also provide more information about how to connect different aspects of a blueprint, alongside broader usability refinements and additional integrations.
Jonathan Hacker, CTO of TeleCANesis, commented: “We’re excited to make our UK debut at Hardware Pioneers Max. We had some excellent conversations at the event last year and were genuinely impressed by the energy and innovation across the UK hardware ecosystem. We’re seeing strong interest from teams dealing with increasingly complex connected devices, in fact much of our recent development has come directly from user feedback. We’ve made integrations easier and added plug-ins people need, while continuing to expand the platform’s capabilities ahead of TeleCANesis 1.1.”

Hardware Pioneers Max 2026 takes place 10-11 June at ExCeL London. Visitors can meet TeleCANesis at stand N9 for demonstrations and technical discussions.
