Faulkner Moulds Showcasing UK Toolmaking Expertise at 2021 Exhibitions

Faulkner Moulds, three times UK ‘Toolmaker of the Year’, will give visitors a warm welcome at this year’s Meet the Toolmaker and Interplas exhibitions.

Lead members of the team will be on hand with various materials to showcase the company’s excellence in Toolmaking.

Serving sectors including medical, electronics, consumer, industrial, automotive and packaging, the Yorkshire-based company provides a bespoke end-to-end service, continually investing in training and state-of-the-art toolmaking technologies and techniques. This year the company purchased a new CNC sparker that runs to a guaranteed constant 3 microns accuracy.

With the ability to design and manufacture sophisticated tooling solutions, including twin-shot, unscrewing mechanisms, collapsible cores, over-moulds, multi-cavity, high production and rapid cycle times, Faulkner Moulds prides itself on a strong track record of accuracy, efficiency and superb customer service.

Throughout the pandemic, the Yorkshire-based toolmaker prioritised fulfilling medical sector demands, whilst still meeting the needs of their non-medical customers.

For example, award-winning twin-shot tools for an oral anti-snoring device, suite of multi-cavity convex ring tools, intravenous kidney filtering device, blood filtering inlets and outlets, an Ebola detection device, unscrewing tools and an NHS faceshield headband.

Having won UK ‘Toolmaker of the Year’ at the Plastics Industry Awards 3 times in recent years, this year Faulkner Moulds is taking a break from entering the awards. This is due to the high level of confidentiality, along with some of the complexities in the supply chains, that were involved in the most significant medical toolmaking projects the company has carried out during 2020.

With the convenience of a UK location and excellent value driven through efficiencies, Faulkner Moulds’ toolmaking is a robust choice.

Visit Faulkner Moulds at stand J22 at Interplas on 28 to 30 September at the NEC, and at the GTMA’s Meet the Toolmaker event on Thursday 21 October at MTC in Coventry.
