iconsys gains Danfoss Authorised Service Partner status

Specialist systems integrator iconsys has been appointed as a Danfoss Drives Authorised Service Partner. A platform-independent provider of integrated automation solutions, iconsys combines knowhow with innovation and commitment to provide major performance enhancements for its customers across multiple industries. And now, thanks to the benefits conferred by membership of the Danfoss partnership program, the company will be able to offer even more comprehensive and effective support services to new and existing customers.

iconsys was already an approved Danfoss System Integrator when, a year ago, it entered into discussions with Danfoss about increasing the collaboration between the two companies. The aim was to increase mutual support and provide increased benefits for the companies’ customers.

“iconsys is an expert system integrator and during our discussions it became apparent that the company was interested in an ongoing relationship that would build on its service capabilities”, said Steve Moore, Solution Sales Manager at Danfoss Drives. “It was clear that we share a similar ethos for performance, driven by customer requirements. In addition, iconsys was an attractive partner for us as the company has extensive and well proven expertise in retrofit applications and drive repairs.

For iconsys, the partnership creates an opportunity not only to enhance its service offering but also to penetrate new market sectors in which Danfoss Drives already has a well-established presence. These sectors include food and beverage manufacture as well as marine and offshore projects.

“Being accepted as a member of the Danfoss Authorised Service Partner Program will undoubtedly enhance our standing with existing customers as well as giving us a competitive advantage when we’re seeking new business,” enthused Cliff Sedgley, Production and Service manager at iconsys. “We’re confident that the partnership with Danfoss will support the continuing growth of iconsys, helping us to further consolidate our company’s already strong position as one of the leading system integrators in the UK.”
