Who are Elvaco?
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Elvaco was founded in 1984 to produce data collection hardware. Since then the business has expanded, and now supplies hardware and services around the world, covering a range of different connectivity and protocol solutions. Elvaco products and services are used for energy-efficiency, billing, and statistics by thousands of companies around the world within district heating, water, real-estate, electricity, and gas industries. Elvaco provides meter agnostic end-to-end solutions for utility metering, aiming to support our customers to develop their sustainable business. They are specialized in energy connectivity and infrastructure, from meters and sensors to cloud-based systems and services.
What products are available?
The Elvaco range covers a variety of connectivity protocols. M-Bus masters such as the CMe3100 provide fixed line connectivity for up to 512 meters, whereas the CMe2100LTE provides cellular connectivity for 256 meters. There are also solutions for wireless mbus from the extremely powerful CMeX50, and future-led technologies in the form of LoRaWAN and NB-IoT meter modules – modules that fit directly into meters from a range of different manufacturers, and provide a highly cost effective retrofit solution.
Where can these products be used?
Elvaco can provide a smart solution for many types of applications, including apartments, airports, hotels, shopping centres, hospitals, and other commercial properties. They can also be used for industrial applications as well as district heating, biomass boilers, and plant rooms. Due to the flexible design, the Elvaco range is well suited to both the new build and retrofit markets
