Parker Hannifin to showcase expertise for industrial electrification applications at SPS 2019

Nuremberg, Germany, 24. October 2019 – Parker Hannifin, the global leader in motion and control technologies, will present a number of new technology innovations focussing on electrification for system solutions, components and services to support and drive sustainable and competitive industrial production at this year’s SPS show in Germany.

Visitors to Parker’s booth will find electro-mechanical, electro-pneumatic and electro-hydraulic innovations that provide efficient and environmentally friendly solutions for a wide range of industrial applications. In the area of vehicle electrification, Parker understands that each application has unique requirements and demands that it aims to meet with the company’s unique capabilities in the area of electro-hydraulic systems. Parker also designs and manufactures a broad array of hybrid and electric vehicle drivetrain motors with maximum power density, high efficiency, and broad scalability.

To highlight Parker Hannifin’s partnership with distributors, three partners from Germany will join Parker on the booth as sub-exhibitors. Werner Krauter, ps antriebstechnik and Hefel Technik will each showcase their respective technology and system solution capabilities. These three distributors customise Parker components and offer durable, optimised, single source solutions with high added value for electro-mechanical tasks in various industrial applications that can also help increase productivity.

Push-To-Fit Series / Force Control Solutions

Push-To-Fit is an electromechanical solution for servo presses and joining applications. Combining its established core products into a joining module, Parker offers a reliable, energy-efficient and cost-effective solution that brings control and visualisation.

High Load Rodless Linear Actuator (HLR)

HLR is a belt driven / linear guideway equipped actuator offering a very high load capacity in an extremely small form factor. Its compact overall dimensions and stroke capabilities make it ideal for use in a wide variety of standard industrial applications. Offered with a wide choice of accessories, the HLR series represents a very quick and easy way to build multi-axis solutions.

Dynamic Pneumatic Display

The Parker Dynamic Pneumatic Display has an optimal combination of network, safety and diagnostic features for easy connectivity to any control environment with Ethernet & IO-Link. This results in a simple and safe power compatible connection to safety devices with an M12 cable, and diagnostic and prognostic monitoring through network communication and web.

Global Vehicle Motor (GVM310) new size and introduction of Global Vehicle Inverter (GVI)

With the introduction of its new GVM310 size Global Vehicle Motor, Parker offers an optimised traction solution to meet the high-performance demands of on-road commercial and off-road electric vehicles (EVs) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs).

The GVM310 complements the electrification of hydraulic work functions already possible through the use of the GVM210 in combination with Parker’s hydraulic pumps. The high power density and high efficiency of Parker Permanent Magnet AC motors (PMAC) combined with a matched GVI will reduce development risk, improve time-to-market and ensure compatibility and maximum efficiency. GVI mobile inverters are available in a wide range of low voltage variants as well as high voltage models.
