BPMA Signs Up Another New Member

The British Pump Manufacturers Association (BPMA) which represents the business interests of UK and Irish suppliers of liquid pumps and related pumping equipment on both the domestic and international stage, continues to grow its membership numbers, with another company recently joining its ranks.

PDAS (Pump Design and Services Ltd) is the latest company to engage with the organisation and enjoy the benefits offered by full membership.  Based in Camberley, Surrey, the company offers design solutions, cost analysis, installation and ongoing maintenance/servicing to the waste and surface water pump station market.

Formed in 2015 by Paul Warner, PDAS provides specialist “End to End” design solutions for sewage and surface water pumping systems, in addition to offering complete mechanical and electrical supply and installation packages plus after sales support in the form of planned preventative maintenance service contracts, telemetry systems and 24/7 emergency response facilities.

Paul Warner and Stuart Challacombe form the senior management team at PDAS, both of whom bring a wealth of experience from working within the industry for a combined period of some 45 years and as former Directors and shareholders of PIMS Pumps, prior to the PIMS Group acquisition by Xylem Water Solutions Ltd in 2013.

Commenting on the decision to join the BPMA, Stuart said, “Having been running the business for the past five years the time is now right for us to join the BPMA and raise our profile to the next level.  We look forward to maximising our engagement with the association and realising all we can through membership.

Steve Schofield, Director and Chief Executive of the BPMA is equally delighted with this latest addition, stating “I am thrilled to welcome PDAS into the BPMA and afford the company all of the support services at our disposal.  It has a strong product and service offering, which dovetails nicely with that of other members, and we look forward to a developing strong and mutually rewarding relationship over the coming months.”
