Nanofabrica Selected to Join the Prestigious #SNTM Programme

(Tel Aviv, Israel, 10th October 2019.) As a key player in the Industry 4.0 revolution in Israel, Nanofabrica is delighted to have been selected to join the #Startup Nation to Mittelstand (#SNTM) programme. #SNTM is a venture capital and private equity outfit based in Cologne, Germany that seeks to bridge the gap between Israeli innovation and Germany´s industrial heartland.

Tel Aviv-based Nanofabrica has caused quite a stir throughout the additive manufacturing (AM) and precision / micro manufacturing sectors since announcing the commercial launch of its technology in the first quarter of 2019.

The company has launched a micro 3D printing technology that reaches micron-level accuracy over a build envelope of 5cm x 5 cm x 10 cm. The technology offers a viable mass manufacturing alternative to traditional manufacturing processes such as micro moulding, and its characteristics open up the opportunity for significant innovation in product design and development.

Not only this, but the technology fits squarely within the innovative ecosystem that exists in Israel today, an ecosystem that is intrinsically linked to the global evolution of technological innovation and the push towards Industry 4.0.

The #SNTM program is designed to promote sustainable collaborations between German industry champions and Israeli start-ups developing ground-breaking Industry 4.0 technologies.

Start-ups included in the programme will acquire practical tools to develop a regional B2B sales funnel, learn about Germany’s industrial heartland, and — above all — directly engage with dozens of potential customers, strategic partners, and corporate venture capital (CVC) companies, with a clear goal of developing meaningful business opportunities.

The very existence of Industry 4.0  substantially  depends  on  the  capabilities of AM technologies such as the one developed by Nanofabrica. The role of designers, factories, and customers will  be  redefined  remarkably  under Industry 4.0 since the  current  barrier  of  mass  production on location will overcome with personal and customized fabrication.

Nanofabrica is an extremely pragmatic company, and does not just welcome engagement with industry players that are assessing modern, innovative manufacturing technologies, but encourages and insists upon it. For Nanofabrica’s technology to optimize the outcomes for manufacturers, the company’s directors understand the need to adapt and evolve to specific industry and specific application requirements.

As such, the company is constantly reaching out to and partnering with key industry players, and the #SNTM programme significantly adds to its network of industry heavy-weights and influencers in Germany.
