Seeq expanded integration and partnership with Siemens at the world’s premiere automation event, Hannover Messe, held on April 1 to 5.
Seeq Corporation, a leading provider of advanced analytics applications for process manufacturing, is expanding its integration and partnership with global technology leader Siemens at the world’s largest automation event, Hannover Messe 2019, held in Hannover, Germany from April 1 to 5, 2019. Seeq exhibited with Siemens in hall 9 booth D35 and demonstrated its self-service analytics application working with Siemens process automation products.
Seeq’s efforts at Hannover Messe were led by Mike Purcell, Managing Director for Europe, who leads Seeq sales, partner, and marketing efforts across the region. Seeq has expanded rapidly in the last year to support European customers with new partners and the addition of account management, analytics engineers, and support engineers.
The partnership between Seeq and Siemens is multi-faceted. Next47, the venture capital arm of Siemens, invested in Seeq in 2017, and the two companies are working together on a number of shared efforts. For example, Seeq and Siemens are engaging clients on opportunities with Siemens MindSphere, Siemens cloud for industrial customers. MindSphere connects a manufacturer’s products, plants, systems, and machines, enabling them to harness the wealth of data generated by the Internet of Things (IoT) with advanced analytics.
Also at Hannover Messe, Seeq demonstrated support for the Siemens PCS 7 enterprise historian. This will enable customers in chemical, oil & gas, and other process industries using Siemens PCS 7 to use Seeq for faster investigation and publishing of insights. In addition to PCS 7 support, Seeq previously announced integration and support with Siemens XHQ, a data integration and visualization platform for the oil & gas industry to enable rapid analytics on XHQ information model data.
Finally, Siemens is using Seeq’s advanced analytics application in their Electronics Manufacturing plants for production debottlenecking, asset monitoring, and faster insights.
“With Seeq’s integration to PCS 7, Mindsphere and Siemens’ use of Seeq for internal advantage, we are engaging with Siemens on a broad set of initiatives,” says Owen Busch, Head of Alliances at Seeq Corporation. “Our shared presence at Hannover Messe and success with our shared customers is evidence of this expanding progress.”
Across all industries, growing complexity and the increasing velocity of business require new ways to optimize productivity and efficiency. The key is using data from machines, plants, processes, and products in innovative ways to gain new insights. Seeq and Siemens have a joint go-to-market plan built around helping process manufacturers leverage data to drive business results.
Seeq is an advanced analytics solution for engineers and scientists in process manufacturing organizations to rapidly investigate, collaborate, and publish insights on manufacturing data. Customers come from oil & gas, pharmaceutical, chemical, energy, mining, food and beverage, and other process industries.
