Telsonic’s highly successful AC actuator range is now enhanced with the launch of the new and improved AC450 variant. This latest addition to the range is available with a 450 N maximum force and supports convertor and generator systems at a frequency of 35 kHz and with an output of 1200 W.
This compact guided rod actuator can be easily integrated within bespoke automation systems and is ideally suited to riveting, flanging and spot welding of thermoplastics.
Typical applications for the AC450 will be within the automotive sector, where there are a growing number of interior and exterior plastic sub assemblies, and sound deadening materials that require joining or attachment. The flexibility of this product will allow either single or “Mother-Daughter” sonotrodes to be used, and the increased stroke range – up to 150mm, will deliver a cost effective solution to a wider range of applications.
Other features of the AC450 include home and stroke sensing, and an optional air-cooling facility if required. The AC450 also inherits the reliability and performance attributes associated with the original modules in the range, the AC350, AC750 and AC1900.
