The PPMA has announced the dates of its next seminars covering robotic safety for integrators. The first will be held on 17 February 2016 at the Manchester Airport Marriott hotel, and the second on 15 March 2016 at the Carlton hotel at Dublin Airport.
Robots are usually supplied as partly completed machinery, requiring the integrator to be responsible for the ‘CE’ marking of the cell. These seminars are aimed at companies using, purchasing, designing and manufacturing machines incorporating industrial robots and discuss some of the issues regarding ‘CE’ marking of complex assemblies, and the requirements of the various standards
Topics will include:
- EN ISO 10218-1:2011 Robots & Robotic Devices – Safety Requirements For Industrial Robots – Part 1: Robots
- EN ISO 10218-2:2011 Robots & Robotic Devices – Safety Requirements For Industrial Robots – Part 2: Robot Systems & Integration.
Areas covered within the seminar include:
- ’CE’ Marking
- BSENISO10218-Parts1&2
- Hazard Identification
- Risk Assessment & Risk Reduction
- Safety & Safeguarding
- Safety Requirements & Safety Related Control Systems
Cost for either seminar is £195 each for PPMA members. For non-members the cost is £395 for the first delegate and £350 each for subsequent delegates. To book a place, visit the seminars page on the PPMA website, or contact [email protected] or call 020 8773 8111.
