Uniting for Victory: Impulse Embedded Backs Chesterton AFC Women & Girls

Vis Unita Fortior – United Strength is Stronger

Impulse Embedded , a leading provider of industrial computing systems and solutions, take great pride to announce that they are sponsoring Chesterton AFC Women & Girls football club (CAFC) in dedication to supporting and uplifting their local community and women in sports. The company firmly believes that sports are a powerful tool that empowers individuals and promotes their core values of dedication and unity. Originally formed in 1969, CAFC announced their new female team in April 2023 and are well on their way to take this season by storm.

The core ideals at Impulse Embedded perfectly align with the football team’s values, encompassing respect, teamwork, and commitment, creating a strong foundation for their collaboration. By backing local women’s teams, Impulse Embedded can strengthen their community at large and enable the team’s development in settings where they can thrive and grow. It’s a crucial role in empowering women in the realm of sports to foster a supportive, equal playing field for athletes of all backgrounds.

A 2022 survey published by The Active Lives revealed that the number of girls playing football in England had increased by 100,000 when compared to the figures from 2017. With widespread interest in women’s sports on the rise, it’s as important as ever to give it the publicity and recognition it deserves by showing support for all local teams. Even the smallest action can show young, promising athletes that competing in sports is more possible today than ever before.

The Women’s World Cup has played a significant role in delivering this inspiring message to athletes worldwide. One such success is the England women’s national football team, the Lionesses, who achieved a 6-1 victory over China in their match on 1st August 2023. Results such as these are a testament to their hard work and indisputable proof that successful, competitive athletes can come from anywhere.

Feedback from Impulse and the Team

Speaking on the sponsorship, Rob Plant, Impulse’s Chief Commercial Officer, commented: “Our sponsorship of Chesterton AFC Women & Girls football club goes beyond mere support for the sport; it represents our dedication to celebrating the strength of women and our solidarity with the local community. We are proud to stand alongside these incredible athletes as they inspire us to aim higher, play harder, and achieve greatness together.”

David Wright, the Chairman of the club and Manager of the Women’s 1st team, said: “I cannot thank Impulse enough for their sponsorship of the Women’s 1st team. The money sent to us has given us a great boost and contributed greatly towards the costs of kitting out the players with really nice kit.”

A kit launch party took place on Friday 4th August to celebrate their unified strength and the team’s new home and away shirts which feature the Impulse Embedded logo. A new training kit was also launched on this date.

David continued: “In regard to the team, we are a new female team but have managed to recruit experienced players in the hope of gaining promotion on our first attempt from Staffordshire Women’s League Division One.”

A Winning Goal

Impulse Embedded aim to make a lasting impact on the lives of these talented athletes who embody the true spirit of sportsmanship and perseverance. Together, they will strive to create a future where women’s football is celebrated, cherished, and nurtured, and where athletes find unyielding support in their journey towards excellence. Impulse are looking forward to seeing the team’s success in future matches.
