Delta to Highlight Proven I/O Modules, Variable Torque Drives, and SCADA-Based Energy Management Systems
“At Hannover Messe 2025, Delta will highlight the proven capabilities of our industrial automation solutions and their role in driving smart manufacturing across diverse sectors like machinery, food and beverage, and logistics,” said Pere Roura, Head of Product Management Industrial Automation Business Group, Delta Electronics EMEA. “We are excited to showcase how these technologies address the evolving needs of our customers, enabling them to optimize production, enhance efficiency, and contribute to more sustainable operations.”
Delta will demonstrate the application of its established automation solutions, each engineered to enhance operational efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability:
AX-5 Series: Advanced IIoT-Enabled I/O Solution:
Delta highlights its AX-5 series, designed to revolutionize industrial automation with advanced IIoT capabilities and a versatile I/O portfolio. The AX-5 series supports a wide range of industrial network communication protocols, ensuring seamless integration into existing production management systems. Utilizing a high-speed EtherCAT bus, it provides precise synchronization control and real-time I/O updates, enabling precise synchronization control.
The series features ultra-slim slice I/O modules, saving up to 50% space in control cabinets compared to traditional I/O modules. These modules offer space-saving benefits with their ultra-slim design. Installation and maintenance are simplified with patented DIN rail clips and removable front connectors, while printed wiring diagrams reduce the need for constant manual referencing. The AX-5 series is set to elevate industrial automation, meeting the diverse needs of machine builders, system integrators, and distributors across various sectors. These features and benefits make the AX-5 series ideal for applications in packaging, assembly, material handling, robotics, and woodworking.

VP3000 Series Drives and MSI Motors:
Delta will showcase its VP3000 series drives and MSI motors, designed for energy savings and low harmonic distortion in industrial applications. For fluid industries, the VP3000 series offers high efficiency and stability for water supply, wastewater treatment, HVAC, and utilities. With a wide power range from 0.75 to 630 kW, it is able to control various motor types, ensuring effective harmonic suppression and reduced energy use. Features include low harmonics with THDi (≦35%), safety functions (STO SIL3), EMC filters, high power density, and predictive maintenance for reliability.
Complementing the VP3000, MSI motors are high-efficiency PM synchronous reluctance motors engineered for energy savings and motion accuracy. Achieving IE5+ ultra-high efficiency, MSI motors deliver superior performance with significantly reduced energy consumption and CO2 emissions. These motors are also designed for long service life, with robust construction and minimal maintenance requirements. Compact, low noise, and easy to integrate, they suit applications like fans, water systems, and compressors. Delta’s VP3000 series drives and MSI motors redefine industrial efficiency, meeting modern smart manufacturing requirements. These features make the VP3000 series a robust solution for HVAC, water treatment, and fluid management.
VTScada Energy Management System:
Delta will demonstrate the capabilities of its VTScada SCADA software for comprehensive energy management and industrial automation. VTScada offers a robust system for monitoring and controlling energy consumption across multiple systems, including HVAC, EV charging, energy storage, and solar energy infrastructure. With system-wide redundancy, a built-in data historian, and remote access capabilities via web and mobile clients, VTScada provides unparalleled visibility and control over energy usage. This allows users to optimize energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance sustainability. The system provides real time data, and historical trending, along with alarm management.
