Nano Dimension Returns from Formnext with Strong, Positive Interest in New Micro-AM Platforms and Material Developments

Waltham, MA, USA, November 29th, 2023 — Nano Dimension Ltd. (Nasdaq: NNDM) (“Nano Dimension” or the “Company”), a leading supplier of Additively Manufactured Electronics (“AME”) and multi-dimensional polymer, metal & ceramic Additive Manufacturing (“AM”) 3D printing solutions, reports a strong, positive interest in new, broader range of Micro-AM solutions and material developments at Formnext 2023, the industry’s leading gathering for additive manufacturing, in Frankfurt, Germany.

Nano Dimension’s Micro-AM solutions are designed specifically for fabrication of smaller, high precision applications in the magnitude of millimeter size industry parts at single micron resolution. The Company showcased its new Giga 25vx and Tera 250vx systems. The key difference between the Tera and Giga systems are the build volume, with the smaller Giga platform being aimed at prototyping applications and the larger Tera platform aimed at higher volume production. Both the Tera 250vx and the Tera 25vx have a build volume of 50 x 50 x 100 mm, while the Giga 250vx has a build volume of 6 x 9 x 45 mm and the Giga 25vx a build volume of 12 x 18 x 45 mm. Tera and Giga systems are equally capable of micron-level resolution, which is valued by OEMs, micro-manufacturers, and research and development centers alike. However, for companies looking to initiate prototype builds, Giga machines are a perfect fit, and Nano Dimension was overwhelmed by the positive response from the Formnext attendees.

Nir Sade, Senior Vice President Product Champion at Nano Dimension commented: “What was on display at Formnext was the dynamism surrounding our Micro-AM solutions, which are renowned for their ability to create intricate structures and components on a micron-level scale. This allows unmatched design freedom and complexity in manufacturing for high-performance smaller parts. There is also the added benefit of reducing assembly needs by fabricating complex geometries in a single build; thus, delivering overall process efficiencies. We already made our mark as a pioneer in this space with our Tera platforms, but the introduction of the Giga machines means we can cater for a broader range of customer and their respective needs.”

Beyond the Micro-AM platforms on display, Nano Dimension also announced a number of new materials and developments at Formnext.

The Company showcased its newly introduced P-900 and P-910 from its “Performance” range, its D-810 from its “Durable” range, and its T-700 from its “Transparent” range. The “Performance” series is designed to withstand high temperatures, perfect for miniaturized parts in high-performance applications such as electronics or injection molding. The “Durable” series of materials boasts versatile mechanical properties offering both rigid and semi-rigid options for demanding applications. These materials are ideal for serial production, such as consumer smart devices. The “Transparent” material range are PMMA-like, and are perfectly suited for production of parts that require varying levels of translucency such as optical elements, microfluidic chips, and medical devices.

Sade concluded: “As Micro-AM continues to evolve, material innovation remains key to unlocking its full potential in various cutting-edge applications. At Formnext, we also

announced an open system material policy for our Micro-AM solutions. The Company will certify third party materials and provide guidance for customers using their own or third party materials to ensure usability. This newly announced open system policy means users of our machines can take advantage of a very broad material range to fulfil an array of applications across a multitude of sectors.”
