NEW SIP 8 Regulated DC/DC Converter Ideal for Industrial Applications

Ideal Power specialises in sourcing high-end, reliable PSU’s, meeting all relevant and compulsory standards and surpassing rigorous quality assurance processes. This includes modules specifically developed to cater to the industrial sector, providing exceptional performance within challenging environments.

One of the latest announcements from Ideal Power is the arrival of the new 43LDL03 series; a seamless solution to powering industrial automation, robotics and control systems, and developed by award-winning manufacturers, P-Duke.

This series has a lot to offer, operating at up to 3W power and presented in an ultra-low-profile of 21.8 x 11.2 x 9.1 mm with no minimum load requirement; making the series a suitable choice for a variety of products within industrial applications. The units are provided with optional remote on-off feature, robust plastic casing, SIP 8 standard pin out and extended operating temperatures of between -40°C and 75°C (without derating), together with meeting MIL-STD-810F thermal shock & vibration standards; ensuring these modules easily integrate within extreme and demanding environments.

In addition, the series boasts an impressive MTBF rate of 5,221,000 hours (MIL-HDBK217F) and incorporating continuous short circuit and under voltage protection. As well as, a low output ripple & noise of 10 mV peak to peak (typically) and an isolation voltage of 1600 VDC, with an isolation resistance of 1 GΩ and 1500 pF capacitance, suitable for unique requirements.

These modules may also be used with external EMI filters to achieve EN 55032 Class B or A; depending on the intended environment. As expected, UL/IEC/EN 60950-1 has been met as standard.

It is also important to note that the series has been tested to meet Performance Criteria A in a range of scenarios including in environments where electrostatic discharge, radiated electromagnetic fields, electrical surges or bursts, conducted radio frequencies and power frequency magnetic fields (UL/IEC/EN 61000-4), which are required within industrial surroundings.
